Actually in certain situations it can be helpful to us. You are told to head the next business meeting. You’re likely to feel a little nervous and anxious. Because of this, you decide that you need to prepare for it.
You plan and prepare everything down to the last detail. The big day comes and as a result of your hard work it’s a success You see Anxiety symptoms can trigger motivation and inspire us to do well. The fear of failure is often a motivational factor. That voice in the back of the head saying don’t screw up’ is usually enough.
The voice isn’t always in a negative tone. Sometimes it can make you feel good. It sometimes tells you what you need to hear and give you the confidence you need Positive feelings such as enthusiasm and excitement can be products of anxiety symptoms. Giving you that extra boost you need to accomplish something important.
Imagine buying a lotto scratch card. You’re excited and hopeful of winning something. As you reveal the numbers you feel a wave of mixed emotions. People experience anxiety in different ways. Our reactions and behavior are down to various factors including experiences and our genes.
Some people may thrive on living at the edge of life and are always looking for the next challenge. Others may find that they don’t have the assertiveness and confidence to do what they really want to do. These people may often feel overwhelmed and find that their activities and relationships become affected.
Millions of people around the globe suffer from an anxiety disorder. For the sufferer, fear and thoughts or worry are hard to shake even if they know how irrational their thoughts are. Jumpiness, apprehension and tension are common symptoms for a sufferer. They may also experience feelings of dread and focus on the worst possibilities.

Each disorder is treatable with therapies with a high success rate.
Through our lives we make mental associations; a good memory of a certain place or a person that you love. Revisiting an experience brings back memories and emotions that we had the previous time. Therapy can help us unlearn negative behaviors that we pick up through our daily lives.
