Headaches, Joint Pain, Arthritis and Anti-Inflammatory Drugs
Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs like as aspirin and ibuprofen is said to contribute majorly to leaky gut syndrome in humans. Although the drugs block inflammation they also block the natural healing and repairing capacity of the body. This eventually weakens the internal system of the intestinal lining and eventually causes leaky gut.
Heartburn/GERD and Antacids:
Acidity is the major problem faced by majority of humans around the world. This is due to lack of sleep and improper dietary plans. This forces an individual to take antacids which in turn contributes to leaky gut. The supplements alleviate the symptoms but also exhaust the cells that produce stomach acid. Antacids also decrease the acidic nature of the stomach acid which promotes heartburn and leaves an individual more vulnerable to parasitic and bacterial infections. This also decreases the ability to digest proteins.
