When I first began with energy healing I knew nothing at all about it. No I was new to it all. I had never heard of things like reiki, chakras, healing with the hands, distance healing, higher-self, chi, or channeling.
It all started when my wife began studying the first degree in the Usui reiki system. She loved it so much that she could not wait to get the second degree, and so on. This was her calling, she felt she had found it at last, and indeed this was true. She is very successful in this field today. My first simple reiki session is easy to remember. Being what I am I was naturally skeptical about it, but I remained open to it, and allowed her to give me her first session.
Wow it was incredible. My body vibrated, and it tickled, and afterward I felt like my legs where a couple of spaghetti’s. I could not stop laughing. I was free, it had cleared out the blockages. I never looked back after that. The door to my own spiritual journey had begun at last!
As far as distance healing goes, that was amazing too, my first experience, and came soon after she had completed the third degree. But, through her own system, the WhiteLight Self-Empowerment, I experienced the best distance healing of all.
Excellent! I am her laboratory mouse. Basically she likes to attune me first in new systems, or practices her sessions and systems out on me. I felt completely energized as the WhiteLight distance healing was so intense. Afterward I felt relaxed, and at ease. I was refreshed. I felt like I had slept all night.
Just like that the head ache I had that day was gone. So unlike my first experience I did not laugh afterward, I cried. I wept. I had the session right after I had experienced a lot of sadness. Distance healing can be a more intense experience than direct healing: both people involved are mentally focused on the task, and this increases the vibration. The coolest thing of all is that my wife was first introduced to her psychic abilities through this session. She made her best effort to get a picture of where I was, and what I was doing during the distance healing. Since I did not tell her, she did not know where I was.
She could see or sense the whole thing. She described to me that I was sitting on a park bench, and yes I was! She had seen this situation as it was happening during the session. I was amazed. So now she is so aware of these abilities she can better sever the people she heals. Indeed, her intuition allows her to do a great job at distance healing. This all started with reiki.
